1.5 Transition Design for TypeⅠ Ballast and Ballastless Track System on Bridge

The design principle for the transition section of type I slab ballastless and ballast track is:transition takes place at the end part of adjacent girder span.Rubber vibration damping track slab will be used for 5 plates at ballastless side, which is transformed by pasting micropore rubber base plate at two sides within 900mm range beneath standard type I track slab, the thickness of micropore rubber base plate is 20mm.

L-shaped steel ballast blocking plate should be mounted at the joining part of type I slab ballastless track and ballast track. The height of the steel ballast blocking plate is 600mm,its horizontal width is 250mm,and its unilateral length is 4700mm.In construction,3 M20 threaded rod(altogether 6 for left-right lines)should be pre-buried longitudinally at the end of base plate of ballastless track. In steel ballast blocking plate mounting, the vertical face should be tightly close to the girder end and base plate surface at ballastless track side, and should be oriented and connected with M20 bolt. The upper margin of the steel ballast blocking plate after installation should be bit higher than ballast and in line with the transverse slope of the ballast track bridge surface(2%extruding),see Figure 5 for its specific structure.
