This section walks through the steps of creating and plotting a sigmoid function with sample data.

  1. Create the sigmoid function using a Python function, as seen in the following script:
def sigmoid(input):
return 1/(1+np.exp(-input))
  1. Create sample x values for the sigmoid curve using the following script:
X = np.arange(-10,10,1)
  1. Additionally, create sample y values for the sigmoid curve using the following script:
Y = sigmoid(X)
  1. Plot the x and y values for these points using the following script:
