Developing using a Git repository fork

We will show how to append a recipe to use a forked repository to work from. We will use the Linux kernel as an example, but the concept works just as well for U-Boot or any other package, although the specifics will change.

We will fork or branch the repository used in the reference design and use it to specify a SRC_URI for the recipe.
